imaging software are like digital darkrooms, and can you
“Develope” a photograph without a darkroom? Today
where films are replaced with digital bits and bites and
we proudly claim to be a digital photographer, the
room-sized darkrooms are also enhanced to fit on to our
laps. The concept of darkroom is not an old story, it is
simply digitalized like every thing else and for one
reason; to make our job faster and with more quality and
better control.
It is also proved that not all the digital cameras
produce actual colors in an image. To fix the colors we
have to take that photo to the process of color
correction and guess again who do you want to call?
Exactly, the imaging software..!
Time to open our senses, technology is here to give
us opportunities to stretch and reach to the new
beginnings, not to be left behind in
stone-aged-thoughts. By combining photography and the
digital imaging software we can bring out what has been
trapped into dark canvas of our deep imagination.
These tools are here not to be criticized but to
enable us to find our own creativity in our own unique
styles. You maybe sucks today with these tools and
hesitate to apply software on your photographs but trust
me if you stay put and do it right, tomorrow you be the
one with golden hat.
I hope these words would be helpful for all of us and
next time when we heard a question or critic we’ll be
able to clear the confused mind. |
