Finally the most richest and
luckiest nation alive on earth starts paying bills
for load shading. For those who are not aware of the
term used here “Load shedding” is when officials
temporary discontinue the electric power supply with or
without announcement.
Although the load shedding has
been an issue since ever but last months utility bills
gone crazy and showed up with 40% to 90% extra amount
while the electricity is available for only 6 to 8 hours
a day, everyday.
I personally have no respect
left for the officials WAPDA and/or KESC (Karachi
Electricity Supply Corporation or any other government's
official body) but upon close research
I had to admit the soulless officials have nothing to do with it.
Although this entire extra amount makes them very happy
but its out of our topic, again.
To avoid extra electricity
bills, switch off every connected equipments and
appliances. Leave one of two bulbs/energy savers to know
the lines are live again and then turn your appliances
on. It is a rough exercise specially when the power
discontinues more then 5 times a day everyday and in
random times but this practice will secure your
expensive equipments, extra billing that you already
paid once (or perhaps twice by now) and it will keep you
smart and sharp as well.
The sense of above! When
electricity returns it power up every single machine
connected and switched on causing the massive load on
meter. Heavy appliances such as ACs, Refrigerators,
Deepfreezes and such appliances consume large amount of
power to start up, imagine the power it consume when
they are all turned on at same time. And not just once
in a day but at least 4 times.
Never forget that you cannot
escape from paying bills for load shedding completely,
the above method will only reduce the cost but you gonna
pay something. Why? Because you gonna turn on the heavy
appliances once power resumes.
Now continue to curse on
government of Phuckistan
and live happily ever after, or
whatever
