Adobe Photoshop 7 allow designers to draw regular
shapes such as circles, rectangles, polygons or custom
shapes directly as path by enabling Paths from Options
Bar.
Enable the option
First click the Pen Tool or press P for shortcut
key. The Options Bar should show these options.
If your Options bar is off or hidden, show it from
Window -> Options
